Re: Marshawn's case may end soon?

This is a 3 day old article, and nothing has happened yet.

This thing is going to a grand jury tomorrow (Friday). Hopefully, indictments will follow shortly.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

A woman was hit and the driver of Lynch's SUV drove away.. that is a serious crime in my book. I think the crowd who thinks this should all go away, and hopes more so that Lynch doesn't get suspended are scum bags. Football means nothing.. a person was hit by a car, and the person who owns that car is responsible in one way or another.

Yes it is getting extra press because it is a star football player, but thats the price you pay for fame. If you want to be famous and in the public eye then you best be on yur best behavior and be smart enough to hire a driver on your nights out.

she won't be rich... She'll get 100K - 250K tops for this, and even that is pushing it. She wasn't permanetly disabled, I'm sure her lawyer will plead "chronic injuries",but she'll get paid... she just won't be retiring soon.

she does deserves something for the incident... but now it will come down to who was driving.... if they can't prove who was driving then the civil penalty to Lynch will probably be on the lesser side... but because it was his SUV and because it has not been reported stolen, Lynch will be responsible for her medical bills, and some pain and suffering issues. He is ultimately responsible for his vehicle, and if he can't explain to the police who was driving then it is his vehicle and he should have known this information and if he can not explain that to the police then he is responsible for the damage his vehicle caused.

200k seems right, Lynch probably makes more than that in 1 game.

Why is her lawyer saying that the driver knowingly left her lying in the street, when the AG or DA said last week that they think the driver didn't know they hit her?

Because he's her lawyer, and a personal injury lawyer at that.

what Jan said. Take it with a grain of salt because her lawyer wasn't there, and obviously she was, but she wasn't inside the car. And unless her day job is with the Psychic Friends Network, she doesn't know what the people inside the car knew or didn't know at the time either.

maybe marshawn can just bang her instead, and settle it out of court.

You can't tell me she wouldn't jump on that.
