Re: Marshawn's sentence???
ACD I think is only for juveniles. Basically, it means if you don't get in trouble the record is expunged.
I think he'll get 40-80 hours community service, a fine and that is it. This is only a misdemeanor, that is why I can't believe Marshawn didn't come out earlier and say I screwed up, it was a mistake, I slowed down and thought she was okay. The question is, does he get suspended a game by the NFL. The comish there stated anyone who would get in trouble after June 1st would face stiffer penalties. I'm just glad this is over.

Basically the case is adjourned and if he is a good for 6 or 12 months, the charges are dismissed.
And it is used for more than just juveniles.Originally posted by mysticsotoLecter is right in everything he said.

My last ticket was reduced to some sort of equipment violation, which also kept me from getting anymore points.
Maybe I should just slow down.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Regardless, I hope he takes this a learning experience and stop putting himself in positions where stuff like this can happen.

Originally posted by historypeteLecter, don't you need an absolutely squeaky clean record to get an ACD? Everytime I've heard it used it was in conjunction with a juvenile getting trouble for the first time.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had a modest fine and some community service to do.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
