He has a history with the Sabres. Why not bring him in as an assistant coach, maybe on the Powerplay. It's not liike our assistants are all that anyways.:idunno:

I can't imagine he'd accept an asst. position anywhere...

guys like him need to be head coaches...even if its not in the NHL...

but the Sabres do need a more apt powerplay coach...does Torts fit the bill? I haven't paid much attention to the TB powerplay over the years
