Mike Ryan wasn't tendered a qualifying offer. He is now an unrestricted free agent. The man has Tampa Bay Lightning written all over him.

The last vestige of Stu Barnes is gone:candle:

Please god let all our UFA walk, i dont want to see any of them in a Sabres uniform, The only one worth taking a look at and he will proally be around after the first 3 waves of FA is Pratt, i liked him as a 7th defensman nothing more

But please let Teppo, Ryan, and Dimitri sign else where, they suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

I would not mind Teppo back as a 6th/7th dman at a reduced cost.

Sorry No thanx, i didnt like him before he was out with his heart thingy, i agree a vet is needed , not one that is 40 asking almost 3million a year and cant play the body at all, i know u said reduced cost, but we need size and aggressiveness on D, not Mr Burns lol

According to my information Ryan was a UFA and wasn't eligible to be tendered a qualifying offer.

You and Lecter are correct. I thought he wasn't qualified. He will be a decent depth addition for someone.

I won't miss him. He never really did a whole lot. Unless he wants to sign again for a small amount.

I see Minnesota Wild in his future.

Hes like 27 years old and still sucks. Maybe he'll turn into a Briere story but I really doubt it.

I could see Ryan being signed to be a AHL vet.

I think Ryan was an UFA last year too.

He wouldn't be too bad for a fourth liner.
