All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

It's nice to sign the Goose, however, Regier's comments in the story below seem to point to the fact that this organization is WAAAAAAYYYYY too in love with itself and their players. Not a very good sign, if you ask me. He does understand that the "very good core" of players he is talking about missed the playoffs and plain sucked last year...doesn't he?
The Buffalo Sabres addressed their future Monday. The Sabres opened talks with goalie Ryan Miller on a long-term deal and rewarded hard-hitting forward Paul Gaustad, re-signing the blue-collar center to a four-year, $9.2 million contract on Monday.
Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sabres stand pat. They think that they have a Stanley Cup winning team as is. The only signing will be a back-up goalie which they'll sign for a box of tampons from Costco...Don't look for any major signings.
Not that many shined on the team last year. I think it's a decent signing though, As far as backup goaltender, the writing was on the wall with JT on the bench for all those games. Darcy knows, Ruff knows, Quinn knows that they need a solid back up to give Miller a rest. Raycroft?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.
Buffalo Sabres general manager Darcy Regier announced today the Sabres have re-signed forward Paul Gaustad to a four-year contract. The 26-year-old Gaustad was scheduled to become a restricted free agent on July 1.
“We felt it was very important to sign Paul to a multi-year deal at this stage of his career,” said Regier. “He has become an integral part of our team both on and off the ice in the past three years.”
Gaustad (6’4”, 229 lbs.) has scored 82 points (28+54) in 215 games during his three seasons in Buffalo. He posted career-highs in goals (10) and assists (26) last season, and was one of four Sabres to play in all 82 games.
Gaustad was selected by Buffalo in the 7th round (220th overall) of the 2000 Entry Draft.
Well so if we have a good core, we just need those couple impact guys to compliment the core.
You don't win championships based on just good foundations, but it sure is a good start. Now I think we have a good foundation, we just need to get the right big guns in there to make a difference and raise the play of the entire team.

Don't overpay but they need to sign a few outside free agents. I like the signing of Goose. It's a decent cap number and he brings some good things to the team.

Plus it allows us to keep saying GOOOOOOOSE for another 4-years.
