It might just be a status temporarily for the team to shelter players for the cuts.

If Os is on IR, or is going on IR, I'll be they cut him if they can afford the hit. Such an injury would all but end Os' career.

I'd have to think it's a mistake as well, but If I were the Bills, I would have left him on the main roster, not stick him in with the guys who will be gone all year.

Exactly why I figured we needed to get two bonafide starters this offseason, and two additional backups.

At this point, it looks as if an OL-man will be one of our priorities next year unless of course a couple of the unexpected ones develop to starter status.
