What if....

1. The Bills stay healthy,

2. Hardy turned out to be a true #2,

3. Edwards proved to be the QB of the future,

4. Barnes proves to be a solid FB, even a small factor in the passing game,

5. Schouman proves to be a solid passing option, getting many 3rd down snaps (or better),

6. Reed and Parrish filled their slot receiver potential,

7. The O-line puts it all together, and become dominate in pass blocking and above average in run blocking,

8. Lynch picks up where he left off, and Fred "The Gem" Jackson continues to shine while spelling,

9. Stroud becomes the presence in the middle we have lack for years,

10. Poz continues averaging 13 tackles per game,

11. Mitchell can be a big factor on the weak side,

12. Our young very promising secondary comes of age,

13. Schobel, getting less double teams, recaptures his old form,

14. Kelsey starts earning his money,

15. The Ball bounces the Bills way,

what then?

if 3 and 9 come true everything else will happen around that. (of course #1 too)

Alot of "what if's" to happen for the Bills to be any good.

If all those things happen, this team will make the playoffs and probably do some damage once they get here.

But that's a best case scenario. While it's unlikely that NONE of those things will happen, it's equally unlikely that ALL of those things will happen.

thanks John Madden :10:

Seriously though, its not like all of those need to happen for us to be good. Just as Crisis says, if Edwards becomes a GOOD QB and Stroud is his pro-bowl self, then we will be much improved and have a good year.

An even better thought, yordad.. What if Hardy turned out to be a #1 but used in a #2 role? That would be even better.

Alot of "what if's" to happen for the Bills to be any good.Well none happened last year, and we were still average. Seems only one or two have to happen for us to be "any good".

I'm more looking for a projected ceiling. If all the stars line up, could we win it all?

Based on the past 10 years I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Based on the past 10 years I wouldn't get your hopes up.I didn't know all these things were possible in past years, let alone actually came true.

What if your aunt had a package? She'd be your uncle!

This team is full of If's and but's every year...one of these years we'll get what we deserve...a championship caliber built team.

Every year it seems as if we go in with just as many questions as the year before, it's getting tiresome.

I have hopes that one of these years the question list becomes smaller because before it does we're spinning our wheels in mediocrity.

We had mostly the opposite happen last season, so we might be due a change.

So your saying unless all those things happen, the Bills will be no good?

That sounds like a Nirvana song, just before the suicide.
