5:37 PT: Updating previous reports, Matt Maiocco for the Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports San Francisco 49ers general manager Terry Donahue all but closed the door for WR J.J. Stokes to return next season. Stokes will most likely be released after June 1, as Donahue said it is “unlikely J.J. will be back on the team.”
