I was driving in this morning and the radio talk show I was listening proposed an interesting situation about Ohio State this year.

Say OSU loses to USC in their game, which is possible and USC runs the table the rest of the way. Then you have UGA win the SEC but it had two losses (AZ St, and UF for arguments sake). Would the committee then put in a 2 loss SEC team over a 1 loss OSU team given Ohio State's recent issues with playing on the big stage?

Honestly I could see it happening, especially if USC were to win by more than 1 score. Im not saying its fair, but you gotta think as a Buckeye fan that their two years in a row of bad play during the National Title game is going to be a factor if they are in the running again and there is no clear cut 1 and 2 team.
