I though yall would like to see an article from a guy that kind of sounded like he knew what was going on. Well, until the prediction. I think I read mention of it, with some quotes in a thread on here. I believe someone picked up the mag. But, here is the article. (Sorry if posted. I checked, but couldn't find it.)

"This team should be much improved, which means anything short of a playoff berth will be a disappointment."

SN prediction: 5-11, third in AFC East. :idunno:

Odd, maybe it's a typo. I could see us going 5-11; if Edwards busts we're ****ed.

When you lose a 1/3 of your team to IR, you have problems as well. I really feel that last years injuries give us this year's depth.

The article is fair, by local writer Allen Wilson.

The 5-11 prediction is not his but from the so-called "staff" in the 2008 preview issue done last month.

On the verge or capable of being in the playoffs yet we're gonna be 5-11?

Am I the only one confused by these contradictory opinions?

we made 7-9 with JP with less talent and a harder schedule . I think we can do better than 5-11 with him at qb.

I'm not high on this team at all, but I still think we're better than 5-11.

As far as the writer, everything seemed fair except for his write up on Schobel. It sounds like the guy has never even watched Schobel play.
