Also I can't see Paetsch beating out Sekera and Weber.

Gaustad is a 3rd line winger or 4th line center. Paille needs to be on the top 2-3 lines. Weber is > Paetsch already.

I think andrei Sekera is ahead of Teppo and Paetsch on the ole depth chart.

Other than that , you're fine.

Stafford/Roy/Vanek is our best line? That's scary.

I am not following you. Are you saying it in a negative way?

These are all pretty good.

I had an idea.

What about a line of Pommer, Roy, and Vanek?

That would be a sick line!!

Then you could tweak the others

Kotalik, Connolly, Stafford

Goose, Hecht, Max

Kaleta, Mair, Paille

yes- it's scary in a bad way.

Stafford didn't seem to develop at all last season and Vanek's streaky. Roy is solid but those other two will hold him back.

i really think we should keep hecht + poms together

do we really wanna sacrifice all our secondary scoring with a pommers roy vanek line too?

Explain how a guy who has consecutive seasons of 43 and 36 goals going to hold Roy back.....

by going through a 6 week scoring slump like he did last year. By missing chip shot "gimme" goals like he did last year.

Jeez Thurm, you know he should be scoring 70 goals with the money he makes...

damn straight.

Well, 70's too high but its' not unreasonable to expect the highest paid player on the team to get more than 36 goals.

I would swap Stafford and Goose on those two lines. The Mair-Stafford-Kaleta line last year was incredible. I first took notice of that line in the 7-1 blowout of the Canes back in March. A great energy line. Hitting, scoring, and great fun hockey. I would like to see those three kept together.
