High ticket prices keep Bills short of sellout for Toronto games

Maybe the greedy guys up North over estimated fan hunger?

Listen, I have no doubt that the games will be sell outs, but these things should have been scooped up in the first few hours they went on sale.

All we heard about was how much more they can get for tickets up there. Turns out it's not that true. Anybody can be priced out of a ticket.

Honestly I don't know if it is good or bad if they dont sell out.

The Bills are guaranteed the money either way.

I'm sorry but Canada DOES NOT SUCK !!!

I have no idea why anyone would feel that way. My numerous trips to Vancouver and Toronto and their surrounding areas over my life span has NEVER been a sucky experience.

and the only chance the Bills have of remaining in Buffalo, after Ralph's demise, is with a little (actually a lotta) financial love from Canada. So wishing for this arangement to fail is fool hearty

At this point any bad PR for the Toronto adventure is good in my eyes.

Listen, I want it to do well, but now too well.

So yeah, sell out, but sweat it out a little. Maybe even leave a few thousand seats open for the preseason game and then have the reg season game sell out a few weeks before the game.

Plus, I love the fact that it's the super expensive seats that aren't selling well. People act like the streets in Toronto are paved with gold.

But these people are not shelling out the big bucks and that's great.

Right Toronto obviously has more corporate sponsoship but the average everyday fan is going to find it hard to pay 350 per ticket.

More proof Rodgers sucks. did you hear the uproar about the ATT contract they offered with the iphone? Canadians were pissed about the overpriced plans and Rodgers had to adjust the plans. Even Apple diverted shipments to Canada because even apple wasnt pleased with the raw deal Rodgers was giving Canadian cell phone users.

I believe that what comes around....goes around.

I can remember going up to the American Bowl there for the Dallas preseason game in the early 1990s.

There was a problem with our tickets, so we went to guest services, where they proceeded to upgrade us from the upper deck to the third row.

And the kicker was that they literally had PILES of tickets in their office.

I want to see that happen in Dallas , and NYC where they are charging rediculous amounts of money for the rights to buy season tickets.

Heck i want to see all of the NFL teams who charge $100 + for any ticket feel the pinch.

I'll take it even further... I would love to see the NFL get a very hard dose of fiscal reality in the near future where major changes in how it operates is a must.

I'm sick and tired of the amount of money pro sports in general commands, and would love to see all sports leagues feel a big pinch.

I love Toronto, I just hate Canadians.

At some point the currency situation is going to change and the NFL is not going let a franchise end up in Toronto anyway.

The hope would be that some of these fans get hooked and support the Bills where they belong, in Buffalo.

Regionalizing the team is a good strategy.
