At the end of the season when we're struggling to be .500, you'll be thinking "damn, all that playoff talk in July was pretty stupid."

no. at least i wont, and thats the truth. how can you fault someone for being optimistic, honestly. its like telling someone with a terminal illness that they shouldnt hope for a cure because its "unrealistic".

Id rather be excited and think positive instead of being miserable. If im let down so be it, id rather have fun instead of thinking we have no shot 2 months before the season starts. Some people are just glass half full type of people in life, I just wish the negative people would understand this, instead of trying to get company with their negative thoughts.

Fan's being positive about playoffs is fine with me. Believe me that I'm hoping as well.

The media jumping on the playoff bandwagon is stupid when this team has proved nothing for almost a decade and were lucky to win 7 games.

Jesus nobody said they are playoff bound in for sure. They are seen as a team on the edge of the playoffs who have a shot to slip in. So what if we havent made it in a decade. Real writers stick their necks out. It would be easy to go with the norm and trend and say they dont have a shot.

I'd rather be realistic and IMO it's unrealistic to be positive about this team. I'm sure you and some others disagree, but I prefer to try to be somewhat objective and analyze the team's chances then be positive just because I want the team to win.

But anyway, that's somewhat off-topic. This thread isn't about the Bills chances of making the playoffs- it's about "good vibes." If you have good reasons to be positive- and some people here have listed some good reasons, even if I don't personally agree with them- so be it. But don't give me this "good vibes" hippy garbage. At least come up with a coherent thought.

The power of positive thinking is very real OpIv, even if you don't believe it. As someone mentioned, re: illness..even doctors agree that it helps.
