All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

'Barring the unforeseen, barring a last minute breakthrough in talks, that is not expected, Jason Peters will not be at the start of Buffalo's camp and it doesn't look like he will be there for any period of time, any time soon.'
What a ****ing piece of ****! The Bills took a chance on the guy and turned him into an OT, when he originally was a TE. They also gave him a contract extension a couple years ago when he needed it.
I don't care how many years he has left on his contract ... Peters has the leverage, and he knows it. The team needs him more than he needs the money. He has the Bills over a barrel, and more so every day this drags on.
The Bills have the money and desperately need him, and no counterargument outweighs that. The Bills should blink first.

As much as Id like to agree with "sticking it" to a guy who is under contract,
I have to agree, they should use some of their ridiculously deep amount of cap room and resign the guy to a contract worthy of his play.

If Peters doesn't play, my 7-9 is probably way too optimistic.
Does anyone even know who his backup is? Chambers maybe?
I think you would see Walker at LT and Bell or Chambers at RT. Teams have done just fine with moves like that, but its risky to say the least and yet again we would be losing our best player.
If Peters hold out lasts into the preseason or further we're in a world of trouble.
Problem is just giving him what he wants sets a bad precedent for the future going forward with this franchise.
See Chicago for example, they cave in to everyone and Devin Hester knows it, so now he's pretty safe saying "i want more cash" knowing full well they'll give it to him.
Like I said, one of the factors is that the Bills have the money. That won't be the case every year. If the Bills were literally unable to do it, then he'd have no leverage.

A returner who cant play any other position very well at all? I would say screw him in a heartbeat.

Yeah, cause god fobid the Bills should pay their talented players well. After all they have boatload of cap space, shouldn't they use it like everyone else? Or should anyone whyo plays in Buffalo just take less then everywhere else??
BTW, the Bills took a chance on him cause they saw potential. What did you think would happen? Players who play well just play well for nothing, simply because the organization took a chance?
