Bills Salary cap

Does anyone have an idea of where the Bills are standing in terms of salary cap room as of right now?

Good question. I looked around and couldn't find any updated info. I think we were about $26mil under in April, so we should still have plenty of room.

We have a page that gives great cap details (http://www.billszone.com/mtlog/archives/2008/02/24/billszones_2008_buffalo_bills_salary_cap_page.php) but it hasn't been updated since March 27th. Maybe some enterprising person with a lot of time on their hands will develop a website with constantly updated salary cap figures for all 32 teams. Would be a great reference point, especially during free agency.

It does seem that there are several teams this year that are well under the cap from what I've read. In past years most teams spent right up to the cap, but that no longer seems to be the case - it's as if owners are giving GM's a budget rather than relying on the cap to limit spending. Probably no coincidence that a lot of NFL owners seem to be preparing to change the cap percentage with the NFLPA once the current cba expires.
