What I mean is that like a NFL team and a NHL team in the same city have alot of similarities.
Buffalo- Bills, Sabres. Both teams lost great players this year and ended up being only ok the next years. In 1998 they both had there season come to a end on a controvercial call.
Dallas- Mavs, Stars, Cowboys. All great teams who always lose in a early round in the playoffs.
Boston- NE, Redsox, Celtics, Bruins. All have taken the league by surprise in the past 5 years. NE, going 18-0 and having 3 superbowl wins. Boston finaly winning a world series. Boston winning the championship after sucking the past 10 years. Bruins finally going to the playoffs and winning a game.
Carolina- Hurricanes, Panthers- Both went to the stanley cup and surprised everyone and then sucked afterwards.
Jets and NYI- Both teams still trying to do something that they havent been able to do in a long time. WIN. Very similar seasons.
Pitsburgh- Penguins, Steelers- both teams who can win and are 1 player away from being champs.
