REVENGE for TD!!!!

Who was the one to tell you that you were headed to Buffalo?

"I was actually on the line with the Pittsburgh Steelers who had the next pick. They called me and told me they were going to take me with their pick. Well, as that was happening Buffalo had traded up with the 49ers and I clicked over on call waiting. It was Buffalo and they told me that they were picking me."

Yes, TD will look silly unless Denney turns out to be at least a starter.

yeah.. i wouldnt brag about that move at all.. at least not yet.. if anything.. it just makes TD look like he was desperate to try and get back at pitt..

It would be more accurate to judge TD's pick of Denny to see who the team we traded with picked with the picks we gave them.

not really romes.. because in this case.. it is being made out to be that TD screwed pitt.. so we traded up.. got denny, so pitt couldnt have him.. and they got randal el instead..

wow.. td really showed them.. cuz denny looked awesom and randal el didnt do anything for pitt last year.. :rolleyes:

The 49'ers picked up Saleem Rasheed in the 3rd and Jeff Chandler in the 4th. Chandler stunk and Rasheed played in 5 games, got 6 tackles and a sack. Denney played in 5 games, got 9 tackles and half a stuff (TFL). Not much difference.

As for Denney, I read the interview with him on BB.com and he said that after the combines he didn't workout at all. This year he has been working out like a madman and has bulked up. Hopefully it helps and shame on him for doing nothing last year!

Denney hasn't exactly hasn't had much of a chance to prove himself yet. I am willing to see what he can do this season.

No player can be considered a bust after just one year. That's just foolish. I give lineman a couple of years before I'll call them a bust.

Yeah....it looks like he can't brag about that trade but we haven't had Denney long enough to say he wasn't worth it.

The question is what does TD think of Denney now. I agree that Denney has some time to demonstrate something. I don't think he has a lot of time. I think Buffalo is going to draft a DE pretty high on Saturday. I think Denny needs to show something by the end of August. Hopefully he can see how poorly he performed last season, though you wouldn't know it from the interview. I think the fact that he didn't work out after the combine was a very poor approach for him. I hope he's doing as much now as he says he's doing. He certainly can use the work.
