Updating previous reports, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports Seattle Seahawks general manager Bob Ferguson reiterated the team is not trading OT Walter Jones, while rumors swirled the Seahawks would deal him to the Houston Texans for the No. 3 pick in the NFL Draft.

Seahawks Notebook: Once more, Jones isn't going anywhere

KIRKLAND -- For the second time in six days, Bob Ferguson successfully skirted the issues and deftly danced around questions yesterday during a pre-draft news conference.

But in the hallway afterward, the Seahawks' new general manager was to the point when the subject turned to the rumored trade of Pro Bowl tackle Walter Jones.

"We are not trading Walter Jones," Ferguson said.
