Also it looks like the Sabres have found their coach for Portland, Kevin Dineen will stay on as the Pirates head coach.

he guided the team to the Eastern Conference Finals in two of those three seasons, winning the Louis A.R. Pieri Memorial Award for AHL Coach of the Year in 05′-06′.

In three seasons, Dineen is 135-76-13-16 behind the bench of the Portland Pirates.

ummm, they have changed their plan. So quit it with the Rochester crap. If you know how to read the newspaper and stuff, you could look back and see where Golisano wanted to save some money during the tough financial times right after the lockout and wasn't willing to supply Rochester with veteran players. This is when Rochester and Buffalo came up with the arrangement with Florida to split the team. This turned out to be a joke and now the affiliation is over with for now.....

Calm down Mike. It has also been written that Donner was not willing to put any money into the team and owes numerous people a ton of money.

Donner was (and is) an ass that messed up the Amerks and the relationship beyond repair.
