OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) _ Kyle Boller had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Baltimore Ravens' coaching staff while working out for the team this spring.

If he made a good enough impression during those sessions, there's a decent chance the California quarterback will soon take that rapport to another level.

The Ravens have the 10th overall selection in the draft, although it's possible they won't actually use that pick. Baltimore needs a quarterback, and with Carson Palmer headed to Cincinnati with the No. 1 choice, the two best players left at the position appear to be Boller and Marshall's Byron Leftwich.

If the Ravens covet Leftwich, they likely have to move up to get him. Boller could be available later in the first round, so Baltimore might trade down.
