Signing bonus for Peters....

After thinking about it this afternoon, let's throw Peters a $3 Million signing bonus if he reports for duty with the promise of a contract redo before next season if he plays like a pro-bowler.

This essentially doubles his salary and gives him a chance to play for the real big payday he is asking for, a middle of the road resolution with no hard feelings.

i'd say no to this. peter's agent is playing hardball. he is going to scoff at anything thrown to him. the bills have to say, "we'll do it, give us your contract. we'll work from there." i'm not saying the bills take that contract, but they literally have no idea what he's suppose to get. you obviously still have 3 years on the contract. does he want it voided? does he want it up front. how much? parker and peters better have an idea of what they want. the bills can't try and figure out what they want.
