    Panic mode

    With all the options at returner and all the options at CB (supposedly - I havnt been to camp), I began to think who we could trade and get real value for. A lot of teams need a good CB. Im sure we cant trade our rooks for good value. Greer/James probably wouldnt bring TOO much. Would we still be OK at CB if we lost McGee? I think we might be, and I think he would fetch a lot.

    Now even with Peters it would be very nice to have another OT who is servicable. McGee might even be overrated throughout the leauge and I bet we could land a servicable OT for him?


    Now even as I write this it seems pretty outlandish and probably is a real panic move, but what the hell?

    Everyone should keep in mind that even if you were to be able to find a decent OT out there, it doesn't mean it wouldn't take time for them to learn how we do things here, the play calls, etc.

    And yes, trading our current #1 CB for an OT would be completely dumb and idiotic.

      nobody is going to trade a quality T for anything.

      The only OT types you will see available at this point are ones that are no better if any better then what we already have.

        I wouldn’t trade McGee, but I would look to make a move for a OT for sure. .Not because I don’t think Peters won’t eventually play; but because I think Chambers sucks, and if Peters or Walker goes down we’re screwed.

              It's not that far fetched... With Youboty coming on we find ourselves with a glut of real talented CB's. Unless there are injuries, 1 of them has got to go.

              Even if we keep 6...

              McGee
              Greer
              McKelvin
              James
              Corner (R)
              Youboty
              Cox (R)

              McKelvin could handle returns and possibly crack the starting line-up.
              Youboty's had some great reports this offseason.
              Corner has been reported as veteran savy.
              Will James is certainly capable.
