    WNSA is reporting

that Jerry Ostroski and Leif Larsen are not at practice today and AVP is wearing the number 60 today in honor of Jerry Ostroski. Jeff Morrison is speculating that these guys might be the last two players cut to get the team down to 65 players

Are they sure that it's not really Ostrowski, not AVP? They have the same build.

Jerry O is listed on IR!!! Maybe he's hurt worse than people realize.

If that is true, let's hope he took a pay cut before going on IR...if not the Bills are responsible for all of his $1.75 million base salary...that is a huge cap hit for somebody who will be on IR and may never play again.

Jerry Os had no practice and appears to be out of shape...Ferris isn't making the team either.

The Bills are now saying there will be a "special press conference" at 3:45 p.m.

The guess here - Jerry O's retiring, a la Phil Hansen...
Comic Book Guy Last night's game was, without a doubt, the worst ever. Rest assured, I was on the internet within minutes, registering my disgust throughout the world.

What are the cap implications if JO retires? Is it the same as if the Bills cut him?

Yep.........Bills will have the remaining signing bonus spread out over 2 yrs. One year's worth this season and all of the rest next year.

I'll have more after the speculation becomes reality

this sucks...he would have been great depth on our o-line

Yet another reason why we should have acquired another OL-man!

If AVP is wearing Os' number, then who is wearing AVPs? LOL

Barring the $1.5M SB he just got, he'd be on the bubble as well IMO. He hasn't even shown that he's any better than the rest of the league's QBs trying out for #3.

                            Trade?

Os and AVP for a top DT!!!

Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!

                            Then let's go to Disneyworld!

                            GO BILLS!!!

JTBF, I agree that a healthy JO would have been great depth. However, he said it was his knee that made him retire, so I doubt he would have given us much depth in his current condition.
