They'll probably play the Cowboys. Would that reinvigorate the hate between the bills and cowboys?

add in the monday night game last year.....

that would be a media circus if that was the superbowl.

just a thought.

there's a difference between optimism and fantasy.

He started this thread a month before the season even started.

Even as good as we were on Sunday, this team is still a LONG way from making it to the SB. We still have to prove we can win against AFC playoff teams, which we haven't done consistently in years.

No way the Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl. Rumor has it Jessica Simpson is pregnant with Tony Romo's kid. And, if that's true, there goes the Cowboy's season.....up in ****ing smoke! I can't stand that country bumpkin whore. :(

as for the bills in the superbowl...if they get there, they better win so i can have my 50-1 vegas payout.

Who cares if Jessica Simpson is pregnant? It won't affect Romo's play.

The Cowboys look damn good- they were probably the best team on Week 1 other than maybe Philly or Pittsburgh, and they both played inferior competition.

Simpson. I can't stand her!

Who cares if Jessica Simpson is pregnant? It won't affect Romo's play.
Jessica is a HUGE distraction for Tony. Look at the playoffs last year. He jetted off to Mexico a week before a playoff game. The head on his shoulders isn't in the game when his other head is preoccupied.

I honestly have not heard that rumor anywhere around here.
That's the rumor I've heard on the radio. I hope to God it's not true. I was actually hoping he would've dumped her before the first game this season.

Valerie you a Cowgirls fan>??
Yes I am. The Bills are my second team.

Giants were a playoff team in 2006. We weren't even close in 2007.

Giants were a playoff team in 2006. We weren't even close in 2007.
They were an 8-8 playoff team, which promptly exited with a first round loss.

They head coach was on the hot seat for 2 straight seasons, after the second year in a row of being 1 and out in postseason.

Before that? they were a 6-10 and a 4-12 team.

As much as you hate to think it, it could happen Op.

no.

It can't.

Name one team with ZERO playoff experience that went from 7-9 to Super Bowl in one year. The Giants played in a fairly tough division but a much weaker conference last year. Practically everyone on their team has playoff experience. Practically no one on our team has playoff experience. They won big games in 06 and 07. Our team has never shown the ability to win big games. Eli had 2 years of experience on Trent going in.

And even with all those differences, it was still a fluke that the Giants won.

Anything is possible, but the possibility is so remote that it's not even worth considering at this point.

Damn, we must look like complete idiots to other teams' fans. We win one home game against an injury-depleted NFC West team, and suddenly people are talking Super Bowl and starting 5-0. Everyone dumps on me for overreacting on the negative side- this is just as bad of an over-reaction on the positive side but no one seems to care.

yikes.

i don't want to say SB... or even type it.

meanwhile the cowboys might have trouble making the playoffs they way they're playing right now. they have a few major problems.

1) no o-line
2) injured TR
3) awful defense.

even when Romo is healthy they're basically the NFC's version of the Denver Broncos.

Look for a Cards - Giants NFC championship game
