I think this is stupid. It's not like these guys are Kelly, Thruman and Reed. They've barely played. I'd get them a ton of time in the preseason.

While I agree with that I also can see the depth of teams these days are paper thin & big $$ is being paid to the starters.

Thus I see teams protecting their investments more than ever. Too big of a dropoff between #1 & #2 on the depth chart.

There is real injury risk in the preseason, i.e., no one wants to see a key player go down in a game that doesn't count in the standings.

I can't wait to get our starters out of the game, healthy and unscathed, during the preseason.

and then when a starter goes down to significant injury, everyone will be blasting Jauron for playing them too much

Isn't this the norm, with increases in games #2-3, followed by a brief appearence in the final ? Game 3 is where they play early into the 2nd half.

they should play the whole 1st quarter, then based on how they're doing the subs should start coming in from there.

We're counting on experience to help the O. 10-20 snaps isn't enough.

i disagree. a couple of series for the starters is just fine. the Bills need to see what they have for backups.

back ups are a contingency plan that hopefully won't be needed. The starters need all the practice they can get. I'm so ****ing sick of this team being unprepared to start the season.

i hear what you're saying but injuries are part of the game and backups have to be somewhat factored in. not to mention that the staff has an idea who's starting when the games count. like Jan said, we want to get through the Preseason injury-free. when the Bills coaches have approx 80 players to look at and set cut dates, they need as much film to see what those backups are doing and how they react to certain situations.

10-20 could be about three or four 3 and outs!!! so it sounds about right
