Young WR's to get long look tonight

Just found out both Reed (back) and Parrish (sore knee) are out tonight.

Good (not about being hurt though). I want to see what Johnson, Jenkins and Huggins have tonight.

Yes- he talked his way into the lineup I guess. He has a sore knee.

None of the young WR's did anything last night. The offense went vanilla big time after the first team exited, which I'm fine with..

Plus, it was obvious Jauron wanted to take a long look at the run blocking for backup OL, and at Wright vs Omon.

BTW, anyone notice Felton HUggins played first and far more often than Steven Johnson? Not a good sign for the 7th rounder. Maybe the team isn't quite as high on Johnson this early as a lot of Billszone.

The 4th string back appeared to be Bruce Hall, not Omon, although Omon got a lot of carries late in the game.

From the look of things, Omon and Johnson are going to have a hard time making the team. They still have the opportunity, but it won't be easy.

Though i am high on both, it is probably a good sign that later round picks like Omon and Johnson aren't automatics to make the team. It means the depth is improving dramatically. I think in the end though Omon and Johnson stay around longer than Hall and Huggins.

That might have been Halls and Huggins "chance" to show something. I wasn't overly impressed wirth either.
