You know who wont quiet down?

    Trent.

    Because awesome is always loud.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

pulled a JP?? how often, if ever, did JP look like that?

Funny how preseason meant nothing last week
and this week it is proof of greatness.

Believe me, I know it means absolutely nothing. Well, except maybe the 3rd exhibition game. Nobody treats the 3rd game like it is bull**** BULL****! The Bills are who we thought they were!

Can't wait for the start of the season.

He actually did it alot in 2006. That and 70 yard passes and INTs are also what hes known for.

Re: Bills O looks good tonight

Trent had a very nice game tonight. I don't attach much more sigificance to that than I do his poor performance in the first game. Well, maybe a little more significance since he played a lot longer. JP had just the opposite, a strong first game and a pretty nondescript second game. I didn't think we still had a QB controversy. I still don't.

I guess my only dissappointment in the game is that Baker's hands seemed to be tied. I'd like to see what he can do in view of the rave reviews he's gotten in practice.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

I expect a " They should have scored 28 in the 1st half " thread within the next 24 hours.

I gotta admit, I was very impressed by the whole starting offense.

Trent Edwards took charge today and didn't look scared out there, compared to last week. He made some great throws and helped keep the chains moving. Marshawn was Marshawn! He would have broken a long one if he stayed in, IMO. Robert Royal! WOW! We actually have a TE? Nice to see the TE and RB finally involved in the gameplan! Lee Evans did a nice job and was also double covered a bit too. Hardy helped Royal out on that one TE too, drawing some extra coverage.
