All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I know that Duke Preston sucks as a Guard, but he was the starter today and IMO, the line looked much better than last week. Preston did a nice job as the starting Center. Melvin Fowler is our weakest link.....
Preston can't play Guard to save himself but has size at Center.
Coming out of Illini, he was rated as a 6th-7th Rounder Center but TD reached for him in Round 4. I never considered him a bust because I never thought he had good feet to begin with. Always lunging at Guard and getting beat.
But at Center, he's far bigger than Fowler and may be a better option right now. At least he can anchor some and drive block. Fowler can do neither.
Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit
It's two drives and one preseason game. Thankfully most of you aren't coaches or GM's as nearly every player on the team would have been cut-resigned-cut the last two weeks.

And money would have been freely thrown out the window because we have "so much cap room" we can afford to do anything.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
