It's safe to say, they shouldn't be a problem.

i have an idea we will line our backfield up like this and we can direct snap it to whoever we want the ball to go to it solves everyones issues and we got a deep threat guy and trent edwards who is a beast all around i can see it now i should be the offensive coordinator

2 point conversionOh. lol. Thanks. That should be factored into a rating.

Oh. lol. Thanks. That should be factored into a rating.Agree... But the line has to be drawn somewhere.

Expect the "Passer rating is a worthless stat" nazis in 3, 2, 1...

I appreciate the optimisim but this thread is like taking the highlight reel from 2007 and saying that the Bills were a Superbowl team.

Rewatch both games. Losman has not looked that good. Period.

Edwards looked terrible against the Redskins and looked great against the Steelers.

When I argue that the O looks horrible based on camp and pre-season, everyone says it's pre-season. When you merge stats in pre-season everyone argues that we don't have any issues with the QBs.

What kind of logic is that?

Once again proof how meaningless stats are. How are things like holding onto the ball too long & not seeing wide open receivers before the sack factored in?
The game is played to win, not who can look good on paper (or a computer screen).
I work with a Cowboys' fan who swears that the refs fixed the Giants/Cowboys playoff game because the stats say the Cowboys won the game. That's what can happen to people who rely on stats instead of watching the game for the intangibles-they lose their minds.
