It happens every year. A guy gets hot, and suddenly he finds himself a top 15 NFL Draft pick, causing jaws to drop.
Isn't that what happened last year when Indianapolis took Dwight Freeney with the 11th pick? The experts said that was too high for a player who weighed only 250 pounds. How could he hold up against the big NFL tackles? Wasn't he just a situational player?
Not only did Freeney hold up, but he ended the season as the rookie sack leader with 13 and proved he will be a pass-rushing force for years to come.
So who is this year's Freeney, a fast riser who might go higher than expected? ...
