Idk about you guys, but the jets are making me pretty nervous..I know it's only pre-season, but with brett favre i think they have a legitimate shot at taking the wildcard spot from us..

Your guys/gals thoughts?

I'm terrified of Brett Favre. He haunts my dreams. My shrink has scheduled me to come in an extra day each week to try to stem this fear before it manifests itself into far worse. I cant sleep. I cant eat. I see the number 4 everywhere. helpme...........

Personally I don't see them being a threat. Too much too soon for Favre. That super vanilla offense the Jets were running has Brett on the same level as a rookie. Very basic. When the true bullets are flying I think we will see a lot of mistakes from Favre and the Jets D will still be awful.

Ya, i guess..their D isn't tooo bad..They just really dont have a D-Line..but favre makes that O better, i think anyway..idk it should be fun to see.

we don't face the jets until november. no need to worry about them. we just have to win our games. and hopefully, once he starts struggling because of fatigue or manginitis or whatever else, the nyc media tears him down and he quits in the middle of the season

Honestly I think the geez will be on IR before we ever see him. He's gonna get hit more this season than he has in the past 5.

The Buffalo Bills are far better team overall than Gangreen. Farve will prove his age when Aaron Schobel is on the hunt. :snicker:

I have to say Sue, that you give Schobel WAY to much credit. Are you his agent or something??

Schobel is a classic Jet's QB killer. Poor Chad Pennington's shoulder.

Their D is still full of holes. I like their MLB Harris and a couple DL but the secondary looks to be bad. They were 4-12 last year for a reason.

Everyone forgot how he sucked the 2 previous years and fans were screamming for his retirement before last season. We got his ass. I aint worried a bit.

I have heard the only cure is to perform a Favrectomy. I think Marcus Stroud could be the ideal candidate to perform that operation.

If Stroud can break through the tough layer protecting the affliction the rest of the procedure is pretty straight forward...or so I've heard.
