All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Is it possible that the NFL will actually start to hear about the love-fest for keeping a team in Buffalo... and actually make it happen simply due to public outcry?
Wow, that is a good article! The more and more I think about it, I don't see how the NFL can yank the team away from the city of Buffalo. It's too rabid and blue collar of a fan base, plus it's very spread out, all over the country. Look at the many Bills Backers and message boards for proof. I'm betting that there are several Buffalo Bills fans who are rich and will jump in the fray to buy the team and keep it in Western NY, the moment Ralph passes away. But I prefer there to be a secret deal behind the scenes with Ralph, making sure the team stays and Kelly helps run the team thru Golisano, Bob Rich, Jeremy Jacobs, Donald Trump or something else....
BTW, I think Buffalo, as a charter member of the AFL, should be given the same special status as Green Bay -- especially in regards to public ownership that will guarantee a team will remain in a community.
It's a pipe dream, I know, but Buffalo is deserving of special protectionist measures, considering how it is technically the smallest city in the NFL, behind Green Bay.

Jerry Magee is a 70 something legendary reporter, one of my all-time favorites. He's the original beat reporter of the Chargers and a great friend of retired Bills reporter Larry Felser.
Any original AFL team will get his undying support and he has always backed the Bills strongly when talk about a possible move has surfaced. He has been a regular contributor to PFW and other football publications for years. He's in the writers wing of the HOF.
