I know alot of people dont agree with this, but Reed will make impact for us. He will be 4th, but a good one at that. How many teams can say that a former starting WR is now there 4th. That should cause alot of match up problems. Also with us keeping 6 WRs probably, that leaves Jenkins and Johnson still on the team. So now we have our team like this.

Evans- former top 10 WR
Hardy- 6-6- 2nd round pick
Parrish- fought for 2nd spot
Reed- 2nd string WR last year
Jenkins- Great ST
Johnson- best value pick we got. We got him in the 7th and hes probably a 4-5th round caliber.

Evans is #1
Josh is the #2/3.
Hardy is the #2/3.
Parrish is the #3/4.
Johnson is the #5/6.
Jenkins is the #5/6.

I doubt Reed will make 3rd or 2nd. Parrish deserves it.

Doubt=dought.

Parrish can't block or get off the line... And therefore makes the team 1 dimensional when he is on as #2 or 3.

It will probably be a situational deal. Where Parrish will be in on more pass plays and Reed will on run plays.

I also caught the doubt right before you corrected me. Bad mistake.

Man I hope not. That would be a dead giveaway that would be sniffed-out after the first couple of times it happened.

What I'd like to see in the next game is Evans and Hardy on the outside, and Reed and Parrish alternating at #3/slot WR. Whoever is more effective in BOTH the run and pass gets the job. With Reed you get better blocking and a pretty sure-handed receiver who can move the chains, while with Parrish you have a home-run threat who gives you nothing in the blocking department.

Almost every team does that. We used to do that in the 90s. On run plays, McKeller and Pete will come in along with Muellar. On pass, we will have Tasker, Beebe, and of course, Lofton and Reed.

I like Josh Reed and he could be a perfect WR for the Trent Edwards.

He is a reliable slot guy

parrish is one helluva player, but hes more of a specialist

reed is more of a generalist with a wider set of skills, but not the explosiveness

if hes healthy he starts the season platooning WR2 with Hardy and WR3 with Parrish

in any event, i agree if your 3/4 consists of Reed/Parrish youre in pretty damn good shape

Johnson is the #5/6.
Jenkins is the #5/6. I can see Prrish being a 2/3 as well with Trent at qb.

WE should have a rotational 2-3 wr situation .

Add Lynch/Jackson and Royals to the passing game
