Trent Edwards is not actually practicing today, but the good news is he’s out here in sweatpants, walking around with only a slight limp. Derek Schouman is also out walking around, but isn’t practicing. It’s the first time he’s been out in quite some while.

So pretty good news on the Bills injury front.

I was getting ready to go to bed last night when I saw Edwards was hurt on ESPN News. Of course they didn't have any info. I about had a heart attack until I got on my computer and read it was only a thigh contusion.

If both are just walking around, why is it good news?

They could be both still be out for weeks or days or months. I don't know how significant this is right now.

Edwards got banged in the knee. He's not recovering from surgery. If he can walk under his own power, he may be out for days or even weeks, but certainly not months.

I agree. If the injury was really severe, I doubt Buffalo would have him out walking around. I think thats why Pat was glad to see on the field with the team. He's probably taking those all important mental reps.

I don't think people were worried about him being out months with a leg bruise. The question is how much more pre-season work will he get before the Seahawks.

I was really hoping to see Edwards in week three when the starters play the half, I'm anxious to find out if he can repeat his performance from last week.

well for one the practice is only about 12 hours removed from the last i mean even tho its a small bruise it could take a couple ddays to heal completely
