NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Osi Umenyiora will need surgery on his injured knee and miss the entire 2008 season.

That is the definition of a bad preseason game, losing a key player like that.

If you can avoid that kind of injury, then the preseason is a success no matter what else happens.

We're already down Peters for who knows how long, my nightmare is losing our second best player tonight. I'd almost rather not see him play at all.

If last season is any indication it's going to be a great year. BTW, most teams success depends on their QB play, that's nothing ground breaking.

I cried when Osi got hurt.
Strahan will come back to help the team..and he already talked to Osi..he's just that kind of guy. Plus, he didn't leave on bad terms, so if the money is right too, he shouldn't have a problem with it.

I don't think Strahan will be in game shape. Plus he wants like 8 mil for the one season.

crap just posted this in another thread but, he'll be in great shape by week 4. He left on good terms, and they need him. They'll pay, and he deserves to be paid.
