Nice job to JP and the O-line.

Our O-line coach is obviously better than "chicken salad" McNally.

JP did well tonight, I feel good about having him as a backup this year in case Trent gets injured.

His passes were wounded ducks, but at least they got there...

Didn't you watch the Cinci game last year and the Texans game the year before that ;)

Definitely. I would also give props to the OC! Turk Schoenert had a very good gameplan today and showed many different things and last week too. I love what I see. nice mix of run and pass. :bf1:

Anytime you control the ball for 18 min on 2 drives, you're doing something right. Did Indy have their A game? Don't know, but there was pressure and Turks calls put the team in a position to control the game. Fewell had a good game as well. It would have been nice seeing Manning or Sorgi in there for a half, but this game shows that they have gotten better.

The whole offense, while a bit shorthanded, looked really impressive. I think we would/could have looked this impressive for about 2 years longer now, had we had an offensive coach who knew what the loud-swear-word he was doing. Turk has looked awesome for far. Oh, and so has JP Losman. Coincidence?

I mean gez, is it my imagination, or are we unpredictable in friggin' preseason games (til we get a lead) all of a sudden? If this is vanilla, I can't want til we open the book.

Two good QBs is a good problem.

JP played well.
Very safe ball-control offense. Took no risks.
Receivers were consistently open and protection was good against a soft zone defense that had its best players in only sporadically. The Bills took what the Colts gave them, which was a lot. He was a bit off on the very few plays where they brought heat.
He played just like you want your backup to play. He certainly outplayed Lorenzen.

JP has had a history of producing when there is no pressure on him... too bad it couldn't be all the time. Either way, I'm glad to see him looking better and playing well, we need to have a backup we can count on.

I think you hit the nail right on the head. I'm almost certain that Schonert is not going to let JP heave balls into double coverage anymore.

He played smart and the O-line gave him more than ample time.

That was a typical backhanded compliment from a hater.

He played like a starting qb.

Well, who you haters call backup, is out playing our 'amazing' starter.
That's not good.
