X-RAYS ON WALKER NEGATIVE: The x-rays taken on Langston Walker's left forearm were negative. We'll have an update after the game.

I wasn't worried about a broken bone. I'm worried about a tear and you need a MRI for that.

I'll bet my life that's what Jauron says after the game as well.

Great point, but I hope you're wrong, of course.

I do as well because walker hasn't looked that bad at left tackle, and assuming Peters is here at some point we're a lot better at right tackle with Walker than Chambers.

My guess is torn triceps.

Probally a sprain elbow had one in high school, it sucked it was stiff for two weeks felt like a break

My guess is torn triceps.

I would consider you very observant if that were the case, because I never once saw them examining anything on his upper arm or "behind" him.

Did you?

I'm no doctor, but i'm guessing that if he tore his tricep he'd be holding his tricep in pain? I don't know, it looked like he was holding his lower arm. Considering the results were negative, that's a good sign. He might be ready for week 1. Let's hope. At this point he's our best tackle.

How can you have a negative X-ray but not have it look good??

That makes zero sense.

because it makes the overly optimistic fools feel better?

he wasnt even cradling the arm with his right (good) hand as he walked. he was just holding his left arm still with no support

a torn/broken anything would almost assuredly not allowed him to do that

If he tore the tricep, it could "roll up" on him. I did not notice that, but did not look closely either.

It was his left arm, if he was playing RT it would be his inside arm in pass protection and would be better. If he's playing LT that would be his outside arm. Not good.

Dick Jauron: "Sorry. I thought 'not good' was the same as "negative" in medical terms."

I hope that Walker is OK....

Every day I hate Jason Peters more and more and more and more.....

What an idiot....he has NOTHING to gain and everything to lose.

I had a hunch it could have been that. Thank goodness. He should be ready by week 1. We still need Peters though.

If it was the forearm, it can't be a torn bicep. I'm going to wait and not try to speculate.

Jauron just called it a bad bruise in his TV remarks.

Maybe Trent and Langston should nurse their bruises together.

And oh yea, Russ Brandon should call Eugene Parker and talk money.

You'd be dead. Dick just said it was a bad bruise to the forearm. Never mentioned a muscle tear

When it happened, it looked like he got a nice shot in the click clacks so I was laughing pretty good. Afterwards, my brother said it was all Jackson's fault.

I think Peters called him before the game and asked him to play something up to help negotiations.

proportionally speaking Walker's "unit" may be as big as the average mans forearm, so maybe he was holding both.
