First of all, McGahee is a fabulous pick, because (remember peerless and the tagging situation) because he is still the best running back available. In the second round, we will move up and pick a first round talent. Everyone questions tom Donahoe now but you guys were all over him when he picked up TAKEO "the man" SPIKEs and that fat guy sam adams. So lets just wait and see. GO BILLS YOU HAVE TO AGREE ON THAT WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCREW THE DOLPHINS

Tom got us that 23rd pick. So going into the offseason, when you thought we were not going to pick in the first round, I'll bet you would have loved for someone to donate Mcgahee to us!

good point. its like signing him as a FA. also, his contract will most certainly be more salary cap friendly and incentive based. Remember also that he will be a great kick returner!!!

After initial shock, I actually really like this pick. I am not sure what it spells for TH's future, but it could end up looking like the Saints situation, with us trading one of them for picks. I think this pick will give us versatility down the road. Our FO must have really not liked anyone else that was available at that spot.

I think TD is big into making sure he gets something out of everyone he signs, even if it means trading them.

He thinks 5 steps ahead, I am still wondering what is gonna happen with this McGehee pick, but it is pretty fun to be a fan with TD on the trigger.

It's great having TD to mold this franchise. One can only feel sorry for the Lions fans (Millen took one too many hits as a player) or worse yet.. the Viking fans. It's nice going to bed knowing that the lights are on and someones home at the main office.

Guys, we got Drew Bledsoe and Willis McGahee for Peerless Price. If you wouldn't take that, I'd like some of what you are smoking. 2 players who have top 5 ability for Price, who was greatly aided by Moulds.

Actually, it was DB and WM for PP and our 2003 #1.

Actually, Jerry Sullivan has a great piece in the Buffalo News which simply explains exactly what we were doing...

dont forget that if we hadnt have traded price, theres no way td would have dished out the remaining funds to get spikes in here. the way i look at it, we traded price for mcgahee and takeo. sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
