Forbes: Worst Places to be a sports fan

Forbes should change the name of their magazine, to stupid asshats that no nothing about sports.

Where do sports fans get hit hardest in the wallet for the least results? Try these 10 cites.

    Miami!?

    New York!?

    Indy!?
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Actually... Buffalo is a GREAT place to be a sports fan! Aside from the heartbreak on the field... getting tickets to any Buffalo area sporting event is as easy as making a phone call to the box office. Couple that with the lowest prices in the country... and it is great to be a sports fan in buffalo.

I can imagine how frustrating it is to be a Patriots, Giants, or Packers fan... knowing full well you have to plan a year in advance and save up $500 to get tickets to a game.

I don't live in Miami, but as a guy that lives in Iowa, South Beach was pretty damn fun when I was there last year. So at least there's that--why do you think there's a lot of opposing fans at our games? I'd bet vacationing in Miami has something to do with that at least. I do see the obvious point about the losing team part though.

I've never been to Miami but I've been to Fort Myers beach in Florida and I had a fantastic time. I would rather live in New York, but Florida is a great place to visit.

Gillette's crappy seats are over $100. I think I paid $130 for nosebleeds, and that was the 1st year they opened. They're probably 2-300 now.
I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!
