Its looking like the camp battle is coming down to that question. With McGee, Greer, McKelvin, and Corner pretty much locks, and since there is a high chance we keep 5 safeties, keeping 6 corners is pretty much out of the picture. So who gets the nod?

The veteran James, who brings experience to a young secondary, but has looked shaky in the preseason, or the enigmatic Youboty, who struggled to get on the field in his first 2 seasons. However he has played well this preseason, and made a great heads up play againt the colts to record the interception.

I say Youboty

James has done nothing to prove himself, youboty has more upside!!

Youboty is starting to turn into the player the Bills wanted him to be even though he still needs to progress. Youboty has outplayed James so he has earned it.

Youboty for sure. Younger and has actually made some plays although our reserves will then be very inexperienced.

Youboty has more upside.

Youboty sure has stepped it up.

But I think his past problems haven't been field play... But rather toughness. I think the coaches sat him in the past because he can't function with physical or mental pain.

That being said, I think we keep Youboty over James.

Don't rule out a trade just yet...I still think Cleveland needs to make another addition at CB... They were very lacking at depth.

I'll go with Youboty. I haven't even really noticed James all that much and although Youboty got torched by Holmes, he has also made up for it with a few turnovers.

I think there is a strong possibility that they keep 6 safties and 6 corners, so they'll keep both.

the problem with Youboty is that he struggled against Pitt's starters and all his progress has been against the backups.

On the other hand, James hasn't exactly looked stellar against the opponents' starters either. That makes me lean towards Youboty.

I think we keep them both if I had to pick one, I'd go with AY.

True, but I wouldn't expect him to be covering someone like Holmes in a real game. I also remember the game against Philly last season where he had an int. Seems like he might have a knack for the big play.

Because he is DUMB, and has some serious problems digesting the defensive scheme, and also at 5ft10 184lbs, he will never be a shut down CB, he is too small and will get out jumped all day for balls

Also he provides nothing in run support and he cant catch, i went to two night practices and watched him regularly get beat, and also watched him in the the 3 preseason games and he has struggled more than any of our DBs

Put it this way i hope i am entirley wrong
But right now he needs to get his IQ up cause he looks more than lost, and that shouldnt be when u r ranked the number 1 CB in the country

So basically i would gladly insert foot in mouth but i doubt i will have too

I've heard similar things about McLovin. Hopefully he puts it together, although to be fair I haven't really focused on him when watching the team so I can't fully say I've seen him struggle or excel (minus the return game).

If either Greer or McGee goes down, we're going to have to count on very inexperienced, young backups. Thats part of the reason why I think it's hard to automatically think Will James would get the axe.

James hasn't played much in the preseason in large part because they want to see what the kids can do.

Youboty has made a few nice plays, but dont forget Santonio Holmes burning him by about 15 yards for atouchdown.. He's still very shaky.

I like James because of his experience, and youboty with his upside.

tough call. If they keep 6 they both stay.. but if they only keep 5, then I'm starting to think its James on his way out.

we keep both. we released kennard cox today so i think that seals a spot for youboty.... james was guaranteed a spot even before that.
