Jason Whittle---can he play Tackle?

I recall him playing OT earlier in his career, or I could be mistaken. Anyone know if he's going to be a backup at Tackle as well, as long as Parker's man***** is holding out?

Knee.. I dont know if its serious, but he's missed the last two practices, including today.

I have not seen any reference to Whittle playing tackle in the pros.

He did play Right Tackle in college:



Lettered 4 times at Southwest Missouri State, now Missouri State, making the move from defensive line to offensive line after his freshman season...Started at RT for the final 3 seasons...Named to Academic All-Gateway Conference team in each of final 3 seasons...An honorable mention All-Gateway pick as a junior and 2nd-team choice as a senior.

Im not even sure he can play guard, I've seen so little of him since we signed him.
