This is insane. Say goodbye to your career, and most likely a life time of pain every time it rains. It's like nobody (5 opinions?) explained how ligaments work or how important they are to a human body. :cynic:

From what I hear he is not going to be resigned by San Diego when his contract is up and if he hurts it more it could be career threatning. This is crazy for him to risk further damage. It he damagaes it further it will hurt him more than help him in his next contract because either way he will need the surgery.

anyone else remember when Takeo Spikes played with micro tears in his Achilles and ended up ruining his career?

Granted, different injury, but it's a very similar situation.
