Chris Mortensen just said he is eligible for this draft...If he ever decides to leave baseball, we could have a potential first round QB in the fold. Wasn't he supposed to be the best QB prospect in the country when he was at Michigan?

No way. After 1 year the rights to him are gone, and he has made it very clear that he does not intend to play football - especially this year.

He will more than likely be a 3rd basemen for the Yankees next season. Henson will never play football. He made it clear he is a baseball man.

I heard if he leaves to play footbal he has to give the Stankeeys $17 mil back to them would you do that. if you say yes you are the weakest link good-bye.

I don't think he has to giive all the money back. 17mil was his full contract and he's on his 3rd year of it now. He wants to be a baseball player. He's barely hitting above.200 in Triple A though. If he sucks it up another year he might consider it next year, especially since the only real QB prospect is Eli Manning right now. But of course that will change.

Henson made the wrong choice going into baseball. He's struggling right now and his future in MLB is in serious doubt. That being said, I don't know if he's worth the hassle. Having to possibly deal/fight with the Yankees isn't something we need distracting us.

I wouldn't say Henson made the wrong choice ... he's making 18 mil playing the game that he loves more and still has an opportunity to return to football if his career doesn't progress any more, which I don't think it will.

Wish all my bad choices turned out as well.

Btw, there's no way he's playing for the New York Yankees next year ... they throw curveballs in the majors.

 The Texans picked him up. IMO they wasted a pick.
