Crowell is left in the cold

With Peters and Evans being the big spotlights in contract talk, Crowell who was 9th in tackles and deserves a contract more than Peters and Evans, is no where to be found when talking about contact negotiations. He has shown up to practice, and has even shown determaination by playing while injured. Right now Crowell should be at least number 2 in negotiations. Hes a vet LB who has shown to be a dominant LB in the past 2 years and is probably the most consistant player on our team besides from Lindell and Lynch. HE NEEDS A NEW CONTRACT!!!!!

Since when does having a lot of tackles mean youre a irreplaceable part of the defense? He's an average LB and youre crazy if you think he deserves as much importance as Lee Evans. A LB like Crowell can be found very easily.

Crowell is a good player, but more easily replacable than either Evans or Peters.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I agree except that he is a average LB. If he is a average LB, than Mitchell and Pos are wwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyy below average.

Crowell is one of our most overrated players.

I'm not sure that there isn't an upgrade in the draft.

Crowell is a good player. I would like it if the Bills were able to extend him However, only at a reasonable price. I wouldn't give him anything much better than what they gave Mitchell.

Crowell will get a deal before Peters. Peters effed his chances by holding out this long. If he shows, he plays under his old deal in 2008. BTW, I predict the Bills will sign an OT in the next 7 days.

Absolutely. No silly $ for him.

Always liked crowells work ethic. He is very good and I hope the Bills are smart enough to let a denney type of player go and give the money to angelo

                            Agreed

I could see us simply not resigning him and then going after an upgrade.

Terrell Suggs would be HUGE, but thats dreaming. Maybe Karlos Dansby.

My eyes are on the draft, guys like Brandon Spikes.

Crowell is a far third on the chart when it comes to players who need to be signed. He might be good for a 100 tackles a year but so are a lot of other OLB's out there. He can be replaced via the draft.
