All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Kennard Cox, DB
Blake Costanzo, LB
Robert Felton, OL
Felton Huggins, WR
Marcus Buggs, LB
Bruce Hall, RB
Christain Gaddis, C
Teraz McCray, DT
I like it, because it provides some depth at most of positions, and it keeps some of the better young players with us.
I expect to see at least Felton and Buggs (whom I thought would make the cut at LB) on the active roster in the future. They seem to have the most potential in the group.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Yea but what the Bills have been doing hasn't been working so maybe its time for a change. We don't have a sure answer at QB yet, we don't know enough about Trent yet, we know JP isn't the answer and does anybody really think Hamdan is an NFL caliber starting QB? All I'm saying that options aren't a bad thing. Whether its Baker, Woodson or some other QB. I think the need for some kind of a development prospect at a unsettled position is ideal.

I don't see why Baker is a NFL caliber starting QB either.
The problem with a 4th QB is that it is almost impossible to get him any reps in practice. That is why there are very few (if any) NFL teams that have 4 QBs.
I didn't say Baker was NFL starting quality though. I don't know that either of us can accurately talk about how many reps a 4th string QB would get given the fact that somebody has to run the scout team, some starters who get hurt (which Trent has a history of) don't practice over the week even though they play every Sunday. I just can't find one negative to why holding onto a 4th QB over say a 4th RB is a bad idea.
And for the record I agree with you that I think Woodson ends up on NYG PS.

Because RBs get more reps and are used more?
Most teams practice structure is similar - the #3 guy runs the scout team while the #1 and #2 (mainly the #1) run the offense. That leaves little room for a #4 guy which is again why most teams don't have 4.
If they have 4, that is fine. just outside of a very few, I don't know of any that will help.
Now cutting Hamdan for Woodson? I could deal with that.

Woodson might have more upside based on his physical tools but he lacks the power upstairs. It's very much so a Losman vs. Edwards type scenario.
Woodson has much better decision making than Losman. Sometimes he tries too hard though and forces throws. He went 200 plus attempts without an INT last seasom before his season went haywire and he tried to over compensate for UK's lack of talent.
