This has been a very, very bad month.

It flew by, that's for sure. I've got a ton of stuff to do in Sept. and most of it in week one. :(

Did you know that alot of places won't let you water your lawn on the 31st?


Soo.... by that :insane::boozer: logic the 31st must not really count except as a recovery day (too bad I still have work to do in walkway... :( ) - so use today as a PREP day for tomorrow!

Interesting month.

Was told on Aug 5th that the buyers of our new house needed to close on the eigth. Their realtor, a total goof, never relayed to them that we would not be able to move out until the 20th.
Our builder said our new house would not be ready until at least the 25th.
(Eight to 25th-no house, just a long ago scheduled vacation from 10-16).

Too good of a deal on our old house to not accomodate the new buyer.

Bought three ¨pods¨for a month to store our stuff as we accomodated their request to move out two weeks early.

Spent four and one half days moving stuff out into pods and our new house basement, then had the pods moved to our new house/property.

Left the old house on the 10th and spent a week in on Ocracoke Island as a vacation. Did a half day fishing charter with the wife and kids. Caught about 40 fish before hooking up the ¨big one.¨
My two college boys and I fought the big one for 85 minutes before he finally ran all of the line out of the reel and broke the 80# test line. Reel was too hot to touch when he was done.

Came home to a hotel, since no house. Sent the daughter to her off campus UVA apartment, and the son to his off campus Virginia Tech apartment, leaving the Mrs., my college grad job seeking son, the golden retreiver and I in a hotel, sneaking the dog in and out of there and the daughter´s apartment.

Escaped the hotel to fly Buenos Aires/Rome/Buenos Aires trips.

Moved two mattresses and some other minor stuff into the new house on Friday. Left for Buenos Aires Saturday.

Should be done and move the contents of the three pods into the new house on Wednesday.

Grapes are about 10 days from harvest. We better be done moving in by then.

Other than that-uneventful.
