    Chris Simms recently released

I know we have seen a few threads on him but he ran the west coast offense in Tampa and we are losing Losman after this year...why wouldn't we bring him in to back up Trent? He isn't going to start anywhere.
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?

He has potential as a second stringer.

Sadly I have a feeling that Simms will end up in Dallas. Jerry is always looking for a player to market and there's no better player than a former UT QB.

He is nothing like his father Phil Simms was as a QB.

With Losman gone next year and Simms experience in a WCO...

If we do indeed go to a west coast style of offense...

              He'd fit like a glove.

I'd entertain the idea at least if I was management on this one.

Simms would be an improvement over Hamdan. And a better fit in the offense than Losman.

let's just see how this year goes. if turk's offense really is all about the OC and anyone can be put in and perform well, hamdan should be good enough and cheap enough.

Simms isn't going to go flying off the shelf unless there is a big time injury on some team early in the season. and even then, i can't see him getting more than a 1 year deal.

                      Re: Chris Simms recently released

Next year is the QB concern & we have an entire off-season to worry about it. It will be addressed.

Simms is a medical concern and has done little to warrant any attention, outside of his last name.
