His last 3 years at Virginia shows 79 catches, so he knows how to get open. Had no chance in NE.

Worth a stab at a position of need.

Stupar has a pretty interesting story. He broke his foot and while having his foot worked on was diagnosed with a potentially fatal heart problem. Had he not broken his foot the symptoms might have gone unnoticed and he could be dead right now.

In all likeliness he'll never contribute at the NFL level; he's not much of an athlete and is a bit slow getting off the ball. He also doesn't run block very well.

I like this signing, actually i like both of the signings, Hawthorne is small but looked very good in the practices i went to he is raw at the position, but probably wont last especially if we get injurys in certain areas

Stupar is a nice pick up i like the fact that we cut the dead weight with Massaqoui and Anderson, Schouman coming back helps, Stupar looks and plays exactly like Fine, so he should be ok

I like it. I know Hawthorne pretty well, not Stupar though. From the info you gave, he fits what we need. I was upset when we let Hawthorne go. He can realy play and he is a very mature player.
