Im not knocking them but I think Ricky will be injured by week 6 so Pennington by default. Ricky is hated and will get alot of cheap shots and he did get injured on his 5th carry of the season last year.

Pennington wouldn't even be eligible for the award. Typically the winner comes back from a season ending injury or something worse. What exactly is Pennington coming back from? Being benched mid-season? Losing out the QB battle in the pre-season? Being beat out by Brett Favre?

Didn't Drew Brees get it one year only because the light finally came on for him? If not, I sure thought there was a player that finally starting to play to his potential and got the comeback of the year award since he had sucked before then, but didn't have any injuries.

The fact that he is hated as much as Ocho right now for what he has done the past 4 years and that he did get injured in the 5th carry last year.

"Hated" His teammates love him and he's been a decent guy over his entire NFl Career? Has he shot anyone? Has he tortured animals? Has he raped anyone? Has he gotten a DUI?

He doesnt have his head on striaght and he likes the wacky tobacky.
He's no cancer? Nutty and unreliable yes but he's hella talented.
