I need a little help. I pick 12th in a 12 team snake draft league and intend on choosing two rb's. I think Faulk, Green, Alexander, Williams and Holmes will be gone when I draft. Here's how I rank the rb's that I think will be available:

Martin
Tomlinson
George - coming back strong from the injury
James - a boom or bust pick
Dillon - Too many times he gives you nothing
Thomas

Comments?

I'll definitely take Martin if he's available, the thing I'm worried about is am I placing Tomlinson to high?

If Martin is gone, should I take Tomlinson and James or George?

I personally would rate them
James- recovered from injury the inury to the ACL was not as bad as most ACL injuries. Plus they play against a rerrible Jags and Texans defense twice.
Martin- A workhorse
Tomlinson- Marty Schottenheimer loves to run the ball
Dillon- Had 13 scores last year and will be near their again this year
George- Recovered from injury but may lose TD's to McNair
Thomas- Did not start until mid-October and missed two games to injury but still had almost 1200 yds rushing

It wouldn't surprise me to see most of your list gone. Dillon and Thomas will probably be there. May be better off taking a stud WR (Owens, Harrison) if they are there.

I picked 11, and got Alexander and Martin. Just depends what position there is a run on early in the round.

Alexander and Martin picking 11 is unbelievable. Most drafts have Alexander going 2nd and Amrtin in the top 10.

I know, after Faulk there was a run on QB's. Edge went 8th Green went 10th. I just had to pick a RB after that.

A-train and tomlinson

A-train only started 10 games last year and had a monster season

tomlinson will run 20-25 times a game.

As long as 2 of those guys are there, take 2 of them. The only exception is if there's an elite WR and you can start 1 RB instead of 2 if you want.

Lord - We have a flex system of 4, meaning any combination of wrs & rbs totalling four (with at least 1 from each position). I'd like to start 3 rb's and 1 wr (good rbs tend to score more than good wrs). This is why I'm leaning to take 2 rbs back to back (and maybe my third in rd 3).

IT all depends on the value left when you pick. I'd personally go for 2 RBs if there are 2 good RBs left.

I did read Lamont Jordon will get some goalline carries instead of Martin so Martin drops down a couple notches in the ranking...

Didn't know that about Martin - good info. My draft tonight is in the NY/Ct area - so hopefully someone will draft Martin early. I think I'm targetting Holmes, Edge & Tomlinson in that order & hoping to get Bledsoe late in the 4th. I have Edge & Tomlinson pretty even - having trouble deciding whom I prefer??

Grabbed James and Owens (Owens was too good to pass by). Got Bledsoe in the 3rd (a little early, but he would have been gone by my 4th pick). Took Bennett and Green (cle) in 4 and 5 - hopefully one or both will turn into big time backs. Got Sharp, Price and Booker in 6,7,8 - solid receivers/te. Took Josh Reed and Watters late (it's a keeper league for any pick chosen late, so Reed could be steal for next year and if Watter signs somewhere he'll be a steal).

Not bad. You just really have to hope that James comes up BIG!

I see sharpe have a poor year. Carswell isn't bad, and could steal catches from him.
